Terms of Service
Effective 26 June 2026.
These Terms govern your use of Binari Chowkidar (the “Service”), a free, community-driven registry for reporting and looking up scams, fraud, and illicit identifiers. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Binari Chowkidar lets anyone look up reported identifiers (such as crypto addresses, domains, and phone numbers) for free, and lets registered users submit reports. Look-up is public and anonymous; submitting, editing, or disputing a report requires a free account.
2. Reports are community-submitted and unverified
All reports are submitted by members of the public and are not verified by us. A listing reflects the opinion of the contributor, not a finding of fact, and must not be treated as a definitive determination that any person or business has engaged in wrongdoing. Confidence scores, contributor badges, and allowlist status are signals to help you assess a report — they are not guarantees. Always do your own research before acting on any listing.
3. Acceptable use
- Submit reports honestly and in good faith, based on your own experience or evidence.
- Do not include personal information about yourself or third parties (names, home addresses, government IDs, or victim contact details).
- Do not submit false, defamatory, harassing, or retaliatory reports.
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, or attempt to de-anonymise reporters or victims.
- Do not use the Service to harass, threaten, or extort any person or business.
We may remove content, suspend accounts, or decline submissions that violate these rules or applicable law.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the reports you submit. By submitting, you grant Binari Chowkidar a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute the public projection of your report (with personal data removed) as part of the registry. You confirm you have the right to submit the information and that it does not knowingly contain another person’s private data.
5. Disputes and corrections
If you believe a listing is inaccurate or unfairly targets you or your business, you can raise a dispute from the relevant entity page. Disputed reports are flagged while under review. See our Methodology for how reports are scored and how allowlisted custodial services are handled.
6. No professional advice
The Service does not provide legal, financial, or investigative advice. Nothing here is a substitute for reporting crime to your local law-enforcement or financial regulator.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Binari Chowkidar and its operators are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on community-submitted, unverified content, or from any inaccuracy, omission, or unavailability of the Service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be directed to our team via the contact channel listed on the About page. For data-protection requests, see our Privacy Policy.
