What is Binari Chowkidar?
Binari Chowkidar is a free, community-driven registry where anyone can report scams and fraud and look up crypto addresses, domains, phone numbers, and other identifiers that have been reported by others. It is the public front door to the Binari Orbit fraud corpus.
Is it free to use?
Yes. Looking up an address or other identifier is completely free and requires no account. Submitting a report requires a free account so we can prevent abuse and let you manage your submissions.
Do I need an account to look something up?
No. Search and look-up are public and anonymous. You only need to sign in to submit a report, edit your own reports, or raise a dispute.
Are the reports verified?
No. Reports are community-submitted and unverified. A listing reflects the opinion of the contributor, not a finding of fact, and must not be treated as a definitive determination of wrongdoing. We show a confidence score and contributor badges to help you weigh each report, and we suppress scam verdicts for allowlisted custodial services.
How do I report a scam?
Sign in, then use the report wizard to pick a category, add the identifiers involved (such as a wallet address or domain), describe what happened without including personal information, optionally attach evidence, and submit. You can edit or delete your report afterwards.
What information should I avoid putting in a report?
Do not include personal information about yourself or third parties — no names, home addresses, ID numbers, or contact details of victims. Describe the scam and the identifiers used by the scammer only. We strip and review free text to reduce the risk of exposing personal data.
What data do you collect about me?
For look-ups we collect only standard server logs. When you submit a report we associate it with your account identifier from our identity provider and record submission metadata (timestamp, IP, user agent, coarse country, and the consent version you accepted) to prevent abuse. We never publish this metadata.
How long do you keep my data?
Published reports are retained while they remain in the public interest. Submission metadata is retained for up to 24 months for abuse prevention and then deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion of your account and reports at any time.
Someone listed my address or business unfairly — how do I dispute it?
Open the relevant entity page and use the dispute button to submit a reason. Disputes are reviewed and the report is marked as disputed while under review. Allowlisted custodial services are handled separately to avoid mislabelling legitimate businesses.
How do I delete my account and data?
Sign in and use the account panel to delete individual reports, or request full account deletion. Account deletion removes your reports and erases the submission metadata associated with your account, subject to any legal retention obligations.
